Call for entries for the CEE Animation Workshop 2024 is now open!\u00a0 The 6th<\/sup> edition of the year-long training programme will consist of 4 modules and will help develop 12 animated projects and enhance the skills of producers and creative teams in the field of animation. The deadline for submissions is 20 October 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CEE Animation Workshop is tailor-made to suit the needs of producers and their creative teams <\/strong>with animated projects of any format (shorts, TV, feature-length, hybrid, XR) in development and is also open to a limited number of career-oriented participants<\/strong>, joining the workshop without a project and seeking to build a long-term strategy for their company. The program is led by renowned producers and animation script consultants<\/strong> in the roles of group leaders, who closely follow and mentor projects for the duration of the program. Once again joining as group leaders will be established producers\u00a0Tonje Skar Reiersen\u00a0<\/strong>(Mikrofilm, Norway) and\u00a0Corinne Destombes<\/strong> (Folimage, France) and the script consultors\u00a0Phil Parker<\/strong>\u00a0(United Kingdom) and\u00a0Rita Domonyi<\/strong>\u00a0(Hungary).<\/p>\n

The 2024 edition of the CEE Animation Workshop will consist of 4 one week modules<\/strong>; 2 modules will be held online and 2 modules will be on-site. The training will start at the end of February 2024 with an on-site module, location will be announced shortly. The workshop will continue online in April and on-site in August in Croatia. The 6th<\/sup> edition of the CEE Animation Workshop will wrap up with an online module in October 2024.<\/p>\n

The participants will finish the year with the final presentation and a pitch to a carefully selected group of industry players. After the completion of the Workshop, participants can take advantage of the CEE Animation network and gain privileged access to various international industry and market events.<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to selecting a diverse and international group of new participants and animated projects in development and take them on a year-long journey of project and skills development and networking<\/em>,\u201d declares Sa\u0161a Bach, the managing director of the CEE Animation Workshop.<\/p>\n

The workshop is intended for teams with a project in development<\/strong> (up to 3 participants: producer, a scriptwriter and\/or director with an animated project of any format in development) and for participants without a project working in the field of animation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CEE Animation Workshop has in the previous four years helped develop more than 60 projects from 180 participants from the globe. More than 120 guest expert lecturers and animation industry representatives have shared their knowledge with the participants with the goal to improve participants\u2019 skills and enrich the field of animation production in European countries with low production capacity.<\/p>\n

CEE Animation Workshop is supported by Creative Europe-MEDIA programme.<\/p>\n
