In February, the participants gathered for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> module in Vilnius, Lithuania. The 2nd module followed online at the end of April, and soon, the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> module will start in the beautiful coastal town of Opatija, Croatia, gathering 28 participants from 13 different countries, who will <\/strong><strong>deepen their knowledge and hone their skills on animation content production and receive individual feedback by international experts and their colleagues on their projects in development.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 3<sup>rd<\/sup> module will take place between 29 July and 4 August 2024. 12 animated projects will be further developed during the course of the week through intense 1:1 sessions, group work and several lectures and masterclasses. Esteemed producers <strong>Tonje Skar Reiersen<\/strong> (Mikrofilm, Norway) and <strong>Corinne Destombes<\/strong> (Folimage, France), along with experienced script consultants <strong>Phil Parker<\/strong> (United Kingdom) and <strong>Rita Domonyi<\/strong> (Hungary), are again stepping into their roles as group leaders, guiding our participants towards getting their projects ready to access the market.<\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to reveal a series of lectures by distinguished professionals. <strong>Michael Arnon<\/strong> (WOLF Consultants, Germany) will lead a dynamic marketing workshop, <strong>Ulrich Michel <\/strong>(Noerr, Germany) will conduct an engaging workshop on the art of negotiation, equipping our participants with essential skills for effective communication and deal-making. <strong>Katrin N\u00e4ndelstaedt<\/strong> (Germany) will offer a session focused on pitching, guiding participants on how to compellingly present their projects. <strong>Caroline Williams and Bernie Culinan<\/strong> (Pragma, Ireland) will share their expertise and offer invaluable company strategy consultations. Additionally, <strong>Edmunds Jansons <\/strong>(Latvia)<strong> and Luca Toth<\/strong> (Hungary) will deliver consultations on visual development.<\/p>\n<p>We will also be hosting an <strong>Open Industry Day<\/strong>, taking place on the 31 July and 1 August, when around 20 Croatian animation industry professionals will be joining our CEE Animation Workshop participants for masterclasses, lectures and networking. <strong>Iva Kraljevi\u0107 <\/strong>(Croatia) <strong>and William Steinberg<\/strong> (USA) will lead a masterclass on editing, offering deep insights on editing in animation. Additionally, we will host a <strong>Roundtable on the Croatian Animation Landscape<\/strong>, with industry experts <strong>Dra\u0161ko Ivezi\u0107 <\/strong>(Adriatic Animation, Croatia)<strong>, Vanja Andrijevi\u0107 <\/strong>(Bonobo Studio, Croatia)<strong>, and Ornela \u010cop<\/strong> (Animafest Zagreb, Croatia) discussing current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the vibrant field of Croatian animation.<\/p>\n<p><em>CEE Animation Workshop in Opatija is organized by Slovene Animated Film Association \u2013 DSAF, CEE Animation, Slovak Association of Animated Film Producers \u2013 APAF, Polish Animation Producers Association &#8211; SPPA and supported by Creative Europe \u2013 MEDIA, Croatian Audiovisual Centre &#8211; HAVC and Ministry of Public Administration, Republic of Slovenia.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":13610,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":[],"topic":[7],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceeanimation.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/13609"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceeanimation.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceeanimation.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceeanimation.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/13610"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceeanimation.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13609"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"topic","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceeanimation.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic?post=13609"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
