Between 31 January and 2 February, the Animation Lab Clermont-Ferrand 2026 will be taking place as a structured 5-day course<\/b> for producers new to animation production. Held in a comfortable setting, the program features discussions with leading professionals on key aspects of the field.<\/p>\n

Participants explore the process of developing, producing, and distributing animated short films. Topics include step-by-step production, international collaboration, festival participation, sales strategies, and funding opportunities.<\/p>\n

The course covers funding for projects, with case studies of successes and challenges. It also includes the Euro Connection Pitch<\/b>, where teams present to industry professionals.<\/p>\n

Led by experts Kristel T\u00f5ldsepp<\/b><\/a> (A Film<\/a>, Estonia) and Brecht Van Elslande<\/b> (Animal Tank<\/a>, Belgium), the workshop welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds and regions. Activities encompass group sessions, individual consultations, lectures, case studies, networking, market visits, and pitch observations. We are excited also to welcome a guest expert to speak about distribution, Sofia Tocar<\/strong> from Square Eyes Films<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hosted by the CEE Animation Workshop team<\/b>, this transformative training unfolds against the backdrop of one of the most significant market and festival events for short films, offering unmatched networking opportunities and a chance to boost your presence in the industry.<\/p>\n
